OMEGA MFG. CORPORATION was founded by Mr. John E. Nordstrom and his wife Mrs. Barbara A. Nordstrom (pictured above) in 1976 in an attempt to increase the speed and technology of the machines that serve the tissue industry.  Mr. John E. Nordstrom, before this venture, had worked for several years as a head engineer of a top-notch converting machinery  company designing wrappers.  Aware that the paper industry suffered from a great need of improvement in the area of speeds, and overflowing with ideas about how he could meet those needs, Mr. Nordstrom separated himself from his previous employer and undertook the task of starting his own business.  The company started with 2 people and has since grown exponentially in size.  To date, OMEGA MFG. CORPORATION has sold machines throughout North, South, and Central Americas, Europe, and parts of Asia.
